Saint Cernin de Larche

Saint Cernin de Larche is formed in between the causse of Martel and the valley of the Vezere. It’s area is undulating in two big areas ; the causse and the valley of the Couze  which opens up into Larche.

Years ago it was essentiality a farming community, now the majority of the population is working  in Brive. There are two main industries operating in Saint Cernin de Larche, commercial and local craftsman. Lac du Causse is partly situated in the community of Saint Cernin the Larche.

Also there are orther touristic curiosities  like the ancient tomb stones of Palein, La Chassagne, the site of Fournet, le Cirque de l’Adoux, the roman chruch from XII century.
